We have just tested the HP 550 notebook and here is what we think. The HP 550 is a mid range notebook designed to include flexibility for the user and some multimedia options. The HP 550 has a glorious 15.4 inch Widescreen display making everyday viewing easy on the eyes. The HP 550 also has the latest connectivity features to keep you connected at home or on the go using the bundled broadband dongle.
In terms of design and look, HP have gone for a portable one. The HP 550 has a very slim and portable design that comes in under 5.5 lb with the aforementioned 15.4-inch BrightView widescreen display. The HP 550 benefits from a fast charging feature with HP Fast Charge which is capable of charging the battery upto 90% within 90 minutes. Testing this gave us results exactly as offered.
